Our Mission
Over the years, we have heard story after story about an aging family member or older colleague that has been taken advantage of by cybercriminals. As security experts and dedicated members of our communities, we feel it is our social responsibility to teach the ones around us how to stay safe online. The SafeTa Initiative is our way to make an impact in the senior communities that will greatly benefit them now and for the years to come.
Live Stream Presentation
We partner with security experts to create 30-minute presentations that provide participants with practical tips to avoid hacks and scams. We ensure that all information is focused and digestible so as to not overwhelm. All presentations will be live streamed through Zoom where participants can join as a group or individually. After the short presentation, we will open to a brief Q&A session to answer any questions.
The Topics
Our complimentary presentation will cover four general topics in an easy-to-understand format.
- How To Spot A Scam
- How To Protect My Devices
- How To Protect My Information
- Who Do I Reach Out To For Help
And Then What?
We are always here to support you and your communities with follow up questions and concerns. After the initial meeting, we will provide you with the full presentation, recorded live stream and additional resources, such as virtual how-to guides, to share with your community.
Included Communities
Our hope is to open the SafeTa Initiative to everyone. Right now though, we are focusing on the following communities:
- Nursing homes
- Hospice care
- Senior living
- Religious communities
